MEET ALI

Helping horses and their owners find balance is one of my life’s most rewarding achievements. As a Certified Myo-Manipulative Functional Therapist and Equine Craniosacral Technique Therapist, I bring decades of hands-on experience and specialized care to the stables of the San Francisco Bay Area.

My Story: Becoming an Equine Masseuse and Therapist

Finding My Calling

My story with horses started on the beaches of San Francisco, where my sister and I would ride in “total hysteria,” quickly discovering that horses definitely have minds of their own. After a period of personal loss later in life, I found peace by returning to the trails of Point Reyes. I spent three years volunteering as a wrangler at Five Brooks Ranch, a time that solidified my desire to be around horses every day.

That passion eventually led me to lease a horse, a decision that changed my life forever—it put me on the path to meeting my husband and moving our lives to Half Moon Bay. We eventually settled at Moss Beach Ranch, where we have been part of the community ever since.

From Rider to Therapist

The shift from horse owner to therapist happened when my own mare began exhibiting unusual behavioral problems. I searched for answers through various treatments, but it wasn’t until I explored equine massage that I saw a true transformation. Seeing her find relief was my “aha” moment; I knew I had found my calling. Today, I combine that lifelong love for horses with clinical expertise to help every horse I work with feel and perform their best.
