Since I launched my Myo-manipulative Functional Therapy practice in 2022 and my Craniosacral Technique Therapy services in 2023, I have had the privilege of working with horse owners to achieve positive results with their horses from reduced muscle tension and soreness, reduced muscle spasm, greater flexibility and range of motion, reduced neurologic excitability, and an increased overall well-being. My greatest joy is to take my clients and their horses to a happier and more functional state.
Here is what some of them have said about their experience working with me:
“I highly recommend Ali to work on your horses! With her gentle approach and calm demeanor, my horse was relaxed and enjoyed every minute. Ali takes her time and talks you through what she is doing. With much licking of the lips, I knew Ozzie found a new best friend!

“Ali has worked on my mare, Annie, and she is a skeptical, non-trusting one. I was holding the lead rope for the session and by the end, Annie was mutually grooming ME because she felt so good!”

“Ali has worked wonders on my Tennessee Walker trail horse “Tiger”. Her calm approach and gentle hands put Tiger at ease while she locates and works out Tiger’s pain and areas of tightness. While she works, Ali answers questions and explains her process including the mechanics of horse anatomy. She is a wealth of knowledge —I always come away with new and applicable information. By the end of the sessions, Tiger is relaxed and happy and I can see an immediate improvement in her gait.”

“I have used Ali’s services several times to massage my big draft mix. He was a little nervous at first but within no time Ali had him feeling comfortable and relaxed. She is always on time, gives my horse a full hour of massage and leaves him feeling better than ever. I highly recommend Ali Tejada.”

“Ali does body work on my 13-year-old mare, Merry, once a month. Merry has struggled with back pain and ulcers in the past, so she can be sensitive to touch. Ali started out slow, gaining Merry’s trust, she really listens and respects what the horse has to say. It has been great watching Merry relax and accept Ali’s touch, huge release yawns are not uncommon during their session. When she is done Ali lets me know where Merry was holding tension and what she did to help release it. She follows up with written report. Merry works hard giving small children lessons as well as carrying me around. I am so happy I can give her the gift of Ali once a month!”
